WHO WE ARE

Dr. James Rowse
My name is James Rowse. I grew up in Williams Lake and am now raising my own family in this small city. I returned home in 1998 to practice, after graduating from Western States University in Portland, Oregon. After 25 years in this field, I have seen many different patients and benefited from the guidance of several mentors, who have shared their cumulative knowledge of chiropractic care.
My original interest in sports medicine injuries prompted my close work with the former Williams Lake Timberwolves Junior hockey team for many years. Additionally, I have also taken great interest in family care (children/pregnancy) as well. This interest has only grown with my own growing family.
I expanded my education to improve my treatment knowledge of sports injuries including shoulders, knees, and carpal tunnel. I have also tailored my continued education to address TMJ problems and chiropractic cranial therapy, to refine my treatment of jaw problems and headaches. I have also gained experience in dealing with a variety of injuries involving the low-back, mid-back, and neck areas. Injuries from motor vehicle accidents (ICBC) and work related accidents (WCB) are treated regularly with successful results.

Colleen Crossley RN, BSN
My name is Colleen Crossley, I have been working at the Chiropractic Associates and Health Clinic for over a 12 years now, adding another health service to the professional team in our office. I have been living and working in the Cariboo/Chilcotin for 30 years. Over the 30 years I have gained nursing experience in university, health administration, remote nursing and clinical mental health environments.
As well as a busy career, I have been a community volunteer my whole life. From the Maple Ridge Agricultural Fair to the Cariboo Fall Fair (now the Harvest Fair), the Williams Lake Studio Theatre to the Stampede, also has donated thousands of hours to programs and services in this area.
I have found my favorite job now and that is working with those long-forgotten, frequently abused parts of our bodies – our feet! Making a difference for those who have problem feet/nails, foot pain, etc.. I also offer services for post hip, knee, or back surgery recovery.
Prices vary depending on the extent of care needed, however, I generally keep my prices low because client comfort is a key focus of my work. I provide basic nail and foot assessment, education and care, plus a circulation-enhancing foot massage for good measure. I communicate with the doctors so that there are complete records of client care in the community.
Please call my cellphone (Colleen’s Virtual Office) to make an appointment.
